The reigning World Champion New York Yankees take on the rival Boston Red Sox at 7:05pm at Fenway Park in Boston. It will be A.J. Burnett taking on lefty star Jon Lester, looking to be an exciting matchup on paper. Lester is give and take on any night if his offspeed stuff is working, same with A.J. The big question is, will Burnett be able to work with Posada and be on the same page all night? After last year of the tandems struggles and without Jose Molina to step up and become A.J.'s personal catcher now on the Blue Jays the Yanks are hoping that all goes well. The last time Burnett was caught by Posada was last year was at Fenway ironically, Burnett was fond of his curveball, Posada thought the Red Sox were sitting on it, they clashed heads and Burnett was hammered for nine runs in five innings. But on the bright side the two have worked well this spring, on the same page and getting outs. Before the 09 season Burnett practically owned Fenway, never losing there in 8 starts. Things changed though, in 09 as he went 0-2 with a blistering 8.85 ERA against the Sox. A.J. said this is going to change and hopefully it will. On any given night A.J. has no-hit stuff says Jorge and if hes got his curveball working for him tonight and his fastball is at its usual 95 plus MPH, there should be a new beginning for Burnett and a lot in store for the Sox.
