Jerry Manuel unsure of rotation potential

According to David Lennon of Newsday, Mets manager Jerry Manuel is very concerned about his starting staff after Johan Santana.
Well first off, Omar Minaya could have at least upgraded his staff a little over the offseason by signing a Joel Piniero, Jason Marquis or even Jon Garland but he decided to go with what he has. To me, Manuel & Minaya knew that the other four starters were in trouble, and once Maine struggled he came fourth and said it. I am one who thinks Jon Niese will have a nice year as well as a bounceback season from Mike Pelfrey. That leaves two pitchers in Maine & Perez. I say you let the rotation take a few spins before we jump off a cliff. But i know over in Cincinnati they would like to get rid of Bronson Arroyo; any ideas?
