Park sharp, Aceves not so much

Starter Alfredo Aceves, fighting to make the club's 25-man roster, struggled against the Orioles lineup. The right-hander was lifted after pitching to four batters in the third and yielded six runs on six hits. Sergio Mitre, facing a similar situation, allowed a run over his two innings of work. Chan Ho Park, in the mix to be the eighth-inning bridge to Mariano Rivera, tossed two scoreless frames, yielding two hits while fanning two. Personally I feel that Park should get the 8th innings nod. He has a great arsenal for a reliever and is more experienced and controlled for a setup man. If I were Girardi I would put Joba in the 7th and Park in the 8th, leading to Rivera.
