Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira left Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Orioles after being hit by a pitch. There was no immediate word on the severity of his injury. With the bases loaded in the second inning, Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie hit Teixeira on the right arm with a pitch. Tex spent several moments hopping around the plate in pain. Hopefully Tex will be fine and get right back on the field, feeling good for Boston in 6 days.
