Reports have surfaced the idea that the Yankees have narrowed there #5 starter battle down to Joba and Phil Hughes, as many reports have come out to say the Yankees would like to trade both Sergio Mitre and Chad Gaudin before the season gets going. The Arizona Diamondbacks are one team that could be interested, mainly because All-Star Brandon Webb Does not appear ready for opening day.
This may sound weird but i think Omar Minaya of the Mets should look into Gaudin, as proved last year you can never have enough pitchers in your system, and he stepped up for the Yankees down the stretch last year.
