Yankees relief pitcher Edwar Ramirez has been dealt to the Texas Rangers for cash considerations. Ramirez, was designated on February 28th in order to make room for newly acquired Chan Ho Park. Now 28 years old, Ramirez appeared in 20 games for the bombers last year, pitching to a 5.73 ERA with no record. He spent the remainder of the season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, going 1-5 with a 3.19 ERA in 29 games. Overall Ramirez was a Yankee from 2007-2009, in 96 appearances he was 6-2 with a 5.22 ERA, and 116 strikeouts. He is know throughout the majors for his unusual but effective "Bugs Bunny" changeup.
