The Yanks just have to stop!

The debates regarding Chamberlain and a starter are still being made even with Joe Girardi's decision to have Phil Hughes become the 2010 number 5 starter. The organization and Brian Cashmen have not stopped, talking about Joba's future and the possibility of becoming a starter once again. Chamberlain said he is just focused on pitching out of the bullpen and setting up Rivera. Chamberlain is thus being transitioned to the bullpen, making his first relief appearance of the spring Saturday and recording a save against the Tigers. I feel everyone needs to stop, including GM Brian Cashmen. The more the organization messes with Joba's head the less effective he is going to be throughout the season. Cashmen is the voice always discussing the players futures and not whats going on now. Everyone who has a voice in this discussion, just have to stop and accept the fact Joba Chamberlain is the set-up man for the greatest closer in the game, and Phil Hughes will be trying to get the ball to Joba this year. I look forward to seeing some more emotion from Joba this year. That's where he feels more comfortable.
